Calling all MIGHTY Huskies!
The MIGHTY (Men Involved Giving Help To Youth) Husky Program encourages men in our community (who are a part of our students' lives) to come into our school and assist throughout the day with our instructional program in the classrooms as well as during recess, arrival, dismissal and in the cafeteria. These volunteers are committing themselves to becoming a positive presence in their student's lives and the lives of other students.
This joint project promotes collaboration between our families, our staff and the whole community. It mirrors Hutchison Farm’s focus on promoting positive behavior on our school’s campus.
For the 2018-19 school year, the Mighty Husky Program is a full day of volunteering, taking place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Due to the limited number of days available, we are asking volunteers to limit themselves to ONE day during the school year. This will enable more volunteers to participate. However, there is usually an opportunity to sign up for multiple days.
To sign up for the Mighty Husky Program, you must have an account on the PTA website (you do not have to join the PTA to create an account). Go to the Home page to create an account. Once logged in, click on the "Online Forms" link on the toolbar and then click the “Mighty Husky” link shown in the Volunteer Opportunities section, or click here.
If you have any questions about the Mighty Husky Program, please contact the Coordinator, Kyle Elliott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
